Tim Hamby – President, Co-Creative Director, Idea Honcho
Now that hybrids have gained cult-like status, Tim can officially claim to be visionary. A creative hybrid with more than 18 years of experience, his broad capabilities cover nearly every aspect of agency work. He founded Renaissance with Matt Britt and Ed Bondi over 12 years ago and now manages operations, serves as co-creative director, copy supervisor and leads strategic marketing and budget planning. Upon graduation from the University of Central Florida, Tim worked as an Assistant to the Creative Director at a large Orlando ad agency, before leaving to join a smaller Jacksonville firm in a broader role as a Copywriter/Account Executive.
In starting Renaissance, his multi-tasking continued. He has since helped create hundreds of award-winning campaigns and client success stories. He attributes success to precise targeting, strong conceptual and an emphasis on emotional impact—now hallmarks of the Renaissance brand. He is passionate about words, ideas, surfing, traveling and "hangin' with my ladies"... his wife and two young daughters.
