Renaissance helps USGBC North Florida implement Jacksonville Public Library series on green building

Renaissance public relations is working with the North Florida Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBCNF) and the Jacksonville Public Library to promote an informative program series on advantages and incentives, including tax credits and stimulus funds, when green building and remodeling your home.

Renaissance teamed up with the local chapter of the national organization and library officials to create a strategic PR plan including logo, graphics and traditional advertising to promote the free program.

Chapter members will offer an educational overview with tips and insights on the emerging benefits of energy efficient and sustainable construction. There will be an opportunity for dialogue and questions and answers at the end of each program.

Programs begin at 7:30 p.m. at one of the regional libraries or at the final program at the Main Library Downtown. The program will be presented in other North Florida counties in 2011.

The mission of USGBCNF is to promote sustainable development and green building in North Florida through open, collaborative education and leadership.

The mission of the Jacksonville Public Library is to connect people with ideas that enlighten, encourage, inspire, enrich, and delight.
