Renaissance Honored with National Sales & Marketing Awards
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) has announced that Jacksonville-based Renaissance Creative is among the Silver and Regional winners of the prestigious National Sales and Marketing Council Awards.
The Silver designation means Renaissance was the highest vote recipient within it’s particular region of the country for each category, and is now competing with a select few for Best in Nation Gold honors at the NAHB’s International Home Builders Show, being held during the first week of February in Orlando, Fla.
The local real estate branding, design and marketing firm was the recipient of two Silver and Regional honors for Best Black & White Ad and Best Brochure (for a development under $400,000). The firm also helped the Sales and Marketing Council of the local builders association create its “Scrapbook” presentation for its own entry into Best SMC in the Nation. The Council is also in the running for this year’s Gold award. Renaissance designed the “Scrapbook” for the Council last year, helping it capture the coveted Gold award for the first time in its history.
Headed by company President and Co-Creative Director, Tim Hamby, along with Partners and Co-Creative Directors, Matthew Britt and Architect, Ed Bondi, the company’s recent success at The Nationals is due, in part, to a strong commitment to team oriented problem solving. A panel of judges from across the nation confirmed the approach.
The award for Best Black and White Ad was for Valencia, a Mediterranean inspired condominium community located in Jacksonville Beach. The striking ad conveys a carefree, coastal lifestyle with the central image of a family playing a childhood game of Ring-Around-the-Rosie near the surf on a sandy white beach, the ad campaign resulted in phenomenal sales success for the upscale community.
Renaissance‘s award for Best Brochure was for The Reserve at James Island, a luxury condominium community located on Jacksonville’s trendy Southside. The Reserve at James Island’s stylish spiral bound brochure mirrored the upscale refinement of the community’s residences and resort style amenities.
"The Nationals are the most prestigious awards of their kind, setting the benchmark for innovations in new home design, marketing and sales," said Dan Levitan, chairperson of
The Nationals. "NAHB's commitment to recognizing originality, imagination and success has been exemplified by its award winners since the competition's inception."
Started in 1982 as the Institute of Residential Marketing (MIRM) Awards, The Nationals award program continues to recognize superior new home sales and marketing achievements. With 57 categories across various disciplines of the new home industry, the awards honor excellence in product and community design, advertising, marketing and sales achievements by individuals and sales teams.
During a three-day judging process, a panel of eight industry professionals from across the country selected Regional, Silver and Gold award winners from a field of nearly 1,400 entries. Gold Awards in each category will be presented as part of the International Builders' Show, with an awards ceremony scheduled for February 7, 2007 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort.
“We’re excited to have our work in the running for three potential golds” said Renaissance Creative President, Tim Hamby. “They are extremely difficult awards to win. To be able to be considered among the best in the nation coming off such a strong period of real estate activity and increased competition makes it that much more telling and fulfilling”.
“It’s a testament to our designers and our team-oriented approach to creative problem-solving. This level of national recognition from your peers reaffirms the value we bring our clients. Notably, you cannot win this competition with great design only; you’ve got to show proven sales success. This highlights how those two elements are inevitably related”.
Renaissance Creative Services offers comprehensive marketing, advertising, public relations and brand development for residential, resort and commercial real-estate projects. Since 1996, the highly successful firm has won over 60 awards for their outstanding creative services and was cited by The Jacksonville Business Journal as one of Jacksonville’s fastest growing private company in 2006, marking the fourth time in past five years the firm has made the list.
Having outgrown their old offices off of Southside Boulevard, the company recently moved into a new 10,000 square office located at Sutton Place in Windsor Park, just off of Hodges Boulevard.
